Wolf 832AF (AKA "06" - for the year she was born) was the Alpha Female of the Lamar Canyon Pack. On December 6, 2012 she was legally killed (harvested) about 16 miles outside of Yellowstone National Park as part of Wyoming's wolf hunt.
She was a beautiful wolf who provided me with numerous photographic encounters, this gallery contains three of those. A majority of my time spent with this dynamic wolf was alone, as I seemed to be able to place myself in the right place at the right time for her to pose for a few photographs (some call it luck).
